Yarrabilba State School commenced the 2018 school year with 24 permanent classrooms, 6 of which are prep classrooms. Shortly after opening, an additional 18 permanent classroom and a Special Education Unit was built in preperation for the 2019 school year.

All of our classrooms have wireless connection, interactive 65" flat panel TV's and modern furniture and fittings. Classroom blocks on each level share a practical learning space with kitchenette and covered outdoor learning space for hands-on learning experiences.

The resource information centre is an exciting learning facility for our students with learning spaces, green room for video recording, science/technology (robotics) room and an outdoor reading court.

There is a dedicated music block with a music classroom, instrumental music practice room and innovation learning room for technolgy and arts programs.

The school has a modern canteen facility (Named Cafe Crunch) which is located next to the uniform shop. There are large undercover areas for the students as well as a large oval and multipurpose court.

In addition to the oval and multipurpose court, there are 3 other play areas for our students:

  • Prep play area with playground, sandpit, covered verandahs outside the prep classrooms and grass area.
  • Junior play area with playground, sandpit and grass area.
  • Middle/senior area with playgroud and grass area.

The hall located from the Larimar Avenue end of the school has a large multipurpose area, stage complete with performance curtains and sound/lighting system as well as a kitchen. The hall also hosts the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.
